Practical Business Coaching for owners who want measurable results

You started your business to build something meaningful. Somewhere along the way, the fires became constant and the growth stalled. We work with you, inside your numbers and your operations, to fix that.

Sound familiar?

Revenue has plateaued for two quarters, but you can't pinpoint why. Your best salesperson just left and took tribal knowledge with them. Cash flow is tight enough that you skip your own salary some months.

You keep meaning to work on the business instead of in it, but there are always 14 things on fire by 9 a.m.

Hiring feels like a coin toss. Half your team is overworked; the other half is unclear on priorities.

What changes with coaching

Within the first month, we map your revenue drivers, your cost leaks, and the three decisions that will move the needle most. No vague frameworks; actual numbers from your P&L.

By month three, you have a hiring scorecard, a documented sales process, and a weekly rhythm that keeps the whole team aligned without marathon meetings.

Six months in, owners typically report reclaiming 10+ hours a week and seeing 15–30% revenue growth. That is the goal: a business that runs better whether you are in the room or not.

How we work together

1

Diagnostic session

A 90-minute deep-dive into your financials, team structure, and bottlenecks. You leave with a written assessment, not a sales pitch.

2

Priority roadmap

We choose the two or three highest-leverage changes and build a 90-day plan. Each action has an owner, a deadline, and a metric.

3

Fortnightly coaching

Every two weeks we meet for 60 minutes. We review progress, solve blockers in real time, and adjust the plan as conditions change.

4

Quarterly review

At the end of each quarter, we compare actuals to targets, celebrate wins, and set the next 90-day sprint.

Who you will be working with

I spent 12 years running operations for two mid-size logistics firms in Glasgow before I sold my stake and moved into coaching full-time. The problems I solve are the ones I lived: cash-flow crunches, underperforming teams, growth that outpaces your systems.

My approach is blunt and practical. I will not hand you a motivational poster. I will sit with you over your spreadsheets, challenge your assumptions, and help you make decisions faster.

Since 2019, I have worked with 127 business owners across Scotland and the wider UK, from solo consultants billing £80k to manufacturers turning over £4m. The common thread is ambition paired with a willingness to do the work.

If you want someone to tell you everything is fine, I am not the right fit. If you want someone who will help you see what is actually happening and build a plan to change it, let's talk.

Questions owners usually ask

How long is a typical coaching engagement?
Most clients commit to six months. That gives us enough time to diagnose, implement, and measure. Some continue on a quarterly check-in basis after that. There is no lock-in contract; you can stop at the end of any month.
What size of business is this for?
Owners with annual revenue between £100k and £5m get the most out of this programme. Below that threshold, a group workshop may be more cost-effective. Above it, you likely need a fractional COO rather than a coach.
Do sessions happen in person or online?
Both. If you are based in Scotland, we can meet face-to-face for the diagnostic and quarterly reviews. Fortnightly sessions run on video call to keep things efficient. Clients outside Scotland work entirely remotely.
What does it cost?
Coaching fees start at £1,200 per month. The diagnostic session is free and carries no obligation. After that session, I will quote a fixed monthly fee based on the scope of work we agree on.
What if I need help between sessions?
You get direct email and messaging access. I respond within one business day. For urgent decisions, I keep a short-notice 20-minute slot open each week.

Let's start a conversation

The first step is a 30-minute clarity call. No charge, no pressure. We will talk about where your business is now, where you want it to be, and whether coaching is the right tool to close that gap.
